I Was Nominated for the Liebster Award!

Sami from Sparkle and Shine nominated me for the Liebster award! It's an award for bloggers who have less than 200 followers. I'm so honored to have received this!

With that being said, here are the rules:

11 Random Facts:

1. I love spicy food! When something isn't spicy already, I add Sriracha or Tabasco to my food to make it spicy. Yum. 

2. I have only been to three other countries other than the U.S. of A, all on different continents: Philippines (Asia), Australia (Australia), and Peru (South America). And I live in North America!

3. I recently got super into One Direction. It's pretty bad, but as a singer myself I must say they are talented!

4. I am 5'2", making me one of the tallest women on my mom's side of the family. 

5. As a kid my dad used to make me sing at weddings and birthday parties. I love to sing but I hated that my dad would force me to perform. 

6. I have shot a gun before (two, actually!). My boyfriend, Darell, took me to a shooting range for a date recently. I was terrified because I'm so clumsy and could've accidentally killed someone, but it was cool!

7. I'm pretty sure that my boyfriend loves League of Legends more than me.

8. As a kid, I always wished I was a tomboy. I loved dressing up, but I also wanted to be considered "one of the boys" so I tried playing sports and hanging around them in elementary school. Unfortunately, I sucked at every sport except dodgeball. 

9. Other than the fashion-type TV shows and dramas on ABC Family that I love, most other shows I like are very much "girl power," female protagonist shows--Sailor Moon, Totally Spies, and Legend of Korra--all cartoons by the way!

10. I am a hopeless romantic. Chick flicks, long letters, grand romantic gestures--I love it all. 

11. I am a foodie. I take so many pictures of my food! (These are only a small select few; I have so much more than this!)

Next, here are my questions from Sami: 

1. If you were stuck on an island and could only bring 3 items with you, what would you bring?

First off, I'd bring my Bible. I need it more than I actually use it, so bringing it with me would be a really good thing for me. I would bring my phone but there probably be no service on the island and no place to plug it in. So with that being said, I would go with a large bag of Flamin' Hot Lays! Hehe they're my favorite type of chips and I haven't had them lately and what kind of foodie would I be if I didn't bring food with me! My last item would be a pen. I'd use it to write in my Bible as I take notes, and since I wouldn't have any other paper with me, I'd make little random notes on the empty pages on the end pages of the Bible. I have to write somehow.

2. What was the last show you binge-watched in Netflix?
I don't have a Netflix account, but the last show I did binge-watch is The Carrie Diaries. I'm all caught up now and I am completely in love with it!

3. What's the last thing you bought?
I bought pan de sal, or Filipino dinner rolls! Where I live, it is rare to find anything Filipino, so I try to take advantage of when I come across it in grocery stores!

4. Who is your favorite Disney character?
Mulan, hands down.

5. Backstreet Boys or NSYNC?
NSYNC! Grew up loving them, and I always will.

6. What was your favorite show as a kid?
Hmm, this is a hard one. I watched a lot of tv as a kid, and I'm really indecisive too. I would have to say that it was between Lizzie McGuire and Sailor Moon. Lizzie McGuire was my favorite sitcom, while Sailor Moon was my favorite cartoon/anime. (It's one of the few animes that I am willing to watch.)

7. What's your favorite book?
Oh my gosh this is hard too! I love reading and have read a lot of books. Unfortunately, I can't say that I have a favorite book. However, I will say that I will read any book written by Emily Giffin. She writes great love stories. (She has a new book coming out this May, and I am so excited for it!)

8. What is your dream job?
Ideally, I want to work at a magazine and/or do this blog full time! I love to write and know that is what I'm meant to do, I just need to figure out how it will play into my future career. If a magazine writer/blogger doesn't work out, I'd love to be an event planner.

9. If you could eat dinner with anyone--dead or alive--who would you pick and why?
Maybe it's because I'm in a phase, but I'd have to say any one of the One Direction boys. Ugh I feel like I'm twelve years old by saying that but honestly, I want to get to know them as regular people. They are talented, attractive, and judging by some of the things they do on stage and in interviews, they are crazy too. I think that would be cool to get to know them.

10. What's your favorite restaurant?
Any place that serves all you can eat (AYCE) Korean Bbq!

11. What are your blogging goals?
I basically talk about them in my New Years' goals post, but to sum it all up--I want to improve in my writing on my blog and my presence on Youtube.
